Online DBT Group Program
Transform your emotional well-being and interpersonal skills with our 21-week live, online Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) group program.
About the Program:
Format: Live, interactive online group sessions.
Duration: 21 weeks, with 1.5-hour weekly sessions every Thursday (starting in February – exact date and time to be confirmed).
Initial Consultation: Before joining, participants will attend an intake session with one of our psychologists. This session costs $222.99 and ensures our psychologist can get to know you and ensure the program is tailored to your needs.
Payment: The cost is approximately $95 per session. Payment for each module must be made upfront to secure your place in the program. Flexible funding options include NDIS, private health insurance, and Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions (rebate of $33.60 per session).
What You’ll Learn:
The program covers four core DBT modules:
Mindfulness: Develop present-moment awareness and balance your emotional state.
Emotion Regulation: Understand and manage intense emotions effectively.
Distress Tolerance: Navigate crisis situations calmly and constructively.
Interpersonal Effectiveness: Build healthy relationships and communicate assertively.
Eligibility Criteria:
To ensure the program is a good fit:
Age: Participants must be 18 years or older.
Suitable for: Individuals with BPD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, trauma, or those seeking to manage emotions, improve relationships, and handle distress effectively.
Mental Health Status: No active suicidal risk or psychiatric hospitalizations within the past 12 months.
Commitment: Ability to attend all 21 weekly sessions.
Ongoing Individual Support: Must have an individual psychologist. If you don’t, we can connect you with one of our experienced psychologists, as research shows DBT is most effective with both group and individual therapy.
Referral: Not required to join, but a GP referral is necessary to claim Medicare rebates.
