We tailor every active therapy session to our clients needs to ensure the sessions are fun, engaging and drive not just physical benefits, but also decrease pain, improve function and mobility, increase mood, motor skills and can act as a tool in behavioural management.
Our expertise in AUSLAN ensures that communication is never a barrier to achieving your NDIS goals.
Our services are supported by NDIS. Find out how to claim our services via the NDIS here.

Our Active Therapy Sessions
During each session we target four training areas.
-
Your core stabilizes your body, allowing you to move in any direction as well as having proper balance. It helps prevents falls and supports your body. So having a strong core is beneficial to everyone because it allows your body to function properly
-
We incorporate science-based exercises that promote neurogenesis, helping our clients improve sensory sensitivities, behaviour and mood, social skills, balance and coordination and more
-
Our muscle tone helps us hold our bodies upright when we are sitting and standing. Muscle tone also contributes to the control, speed and amount of movement we can achieve.
People with low muscle tone may need to put in more effort to get their muscles moving properly when they are doing an activity. They may also have difficulty maintaining good posture when sitting or standing and may also have delays in their gross motor development (e.g. rolling, sitting, walking).
-
Aerobic exercise may be the fastest way to get stress-busting benefits. Aerobic exercise elevates your heart rate, which releases endorphins in the brain. These neurochemicals are the feel-good chemicals that make you more resilient, helping you cope with stressful situations in a healthy manner.
